About
Cornelius Jones is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, teacher and producer living in San Francisco, California. After majoring in French Horn performance, he went on to become a private music teacher for nearly a decade, teaching kids and adults the ins and outs of piano, guitar, bass, brass, and music software, both in his home state of Ohio and now on the West Coast. As a child he broke his arm doing NBA Hangtime-inspired slam dunks on some monkey bars.
At 12 he wrote a compiler for PlayStation disks to batch convert audio files to Microsoft MIDI from a PSX disc so he could put mp3s of his favorite video game soundtracks onto his iPod Mini. Needless to say, he was - and still is - super, totally cool.
Currently he is working with Luis Antonio on his new game 12 Minutes, composing a dynamic orchestral soundtrack to a time-loop murder mystery. It’s really very fun.
Sometimes he takes photos of the weird shapes the planet on this side of the country can take. Also, while he is the first to admit that he owns too many guitars, in his defense, at least every one is a different kind of guitar.
